Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4v1) horror game in which one player takes on the role of the ruthless killer and the remaining 4 play as survivors trying to escape from him to avoid being captured, tortured and killed.

The survivors play in the third person and have the advantage of having a better perception of the environment. The assassin plays in the first person and is more focused on his prey.

The survivor's goal in each encounter is to escape the kill area without being captured by the killer, which sounds easier than it is, especially with an environment that changes every time you play.
