The Medium is a third-person psychological horror game with parallel reality gameplay and an original soundtrack co-composed by Arkadiusz Reikowski and Akira Yamaoka.

Put into practice psychic abilities reserved for a few people. Travel between the two realities or explore them simultaneously and use the out-of-body experience to investigate places you cannot access with your real self. Create energy shields and launch powerful spirit attacks to survive the afterlife dangers that lurk in the spectral world.

The spirit world is a dark reflection of our reality, a dark and bewildering place where our evil deeds, our darkest desires, and our vilest secrets manifest and take shape. This world has been created by taking inspiration from the paintings of Zdzisław Beksiński, a Polish surrealist painter, recognized all over the world for his unique and ominous style.

 

 

MUSIC BY YAMAOKA AND REIKOWSKI

Immerse yourself in the haunting and oppressive atmosphere of the game, created thanks to the original "dual" soundtrack co-created by Akira Yamaoka and Arkadiusz Reikowski. Yamaoka is a legendary Japanese composer, known for his work on the Silent Hill saga; while Reikowski is a Hollywood Music in Media Awards-nominated composer who has worked on such acclaimed horror games as Blair Witch, Layers of Fear, and Observer. Both authors now unite their creative talents in the music and songs of The Medium.
